1. Apply a generous coat of stripper to the surface using a brush, roller, or paintbrush
The action time depends on the age, number of coats, and thickness of the coating. The following times are indicative:
– For façade coatings (acrylic, vinyl, styrene-acrylic paints, lacquer on wood or metal): apply about 250 g/m², allow to act for approximately 60 to 90 minutes before removing the coating
– For thick textured or plastic coatings: apply about 500 g/m², allow to act for 90 to 180 minutes depending on thickness before removing the coating
Test on a small area beforehand to determine the appropriate action time
2. Remove the coating loosened by the stripper with a scraper or spatula followed by rinsing with water, or with a high-pressure washer (120 bar) if needed
3. If necessary, apply a second coat of stripper
4. Clean tools with water after use
• Due to the wide variety of surfaces, always carry out a preliminary test, especially on metals and wood
